According to a new study published in the Journal of Religion and Society, a high level of religious belief leads to more crime and other undesirable social problems

Religious belief is nothing but a form of mental illness.
Religion has caused more war, pain, suffering and strife than any other fairy tale known to mankind.
Peace would prevail on earth minutes after the abolition of all religions. Lets get to work. Time to stop believing a bunch of mumbo jumbo and fairy tales.

Title: "IN GO-L-D WE TRUST"

"Religious belief" IS NOT "....a form of mental illness."
This is too simple and a stereotyped cliche.
Religion has a threefold function:
-For all mankind, consolation for the privations exacted by life;
-For the great majority of men, encouragement to accept emotionally their class situation;
-And for the dominant minority, relief from feelings of guilt caused by the suffering of those whom they oppress.
"Religion" IS NOT WHAT "has caused more war, pain, suffering and strife than any other fairy tale known to mankind."
It is a clear Myth spread by those who have had the "need" to justify the slave-trade hunt and the conquest and plunder of new lands.
The conquest of America by Spain was done under
such an official Myth of 'religion-motivation' of "converting Native Americans to Christianity."
Absurd.
When General Franco, in Spain, 1939, finished the slaughter of half a million human beings in the name of the Spanish fascistoligarchy, he received a telegram from the "religious leader", Pio XII, congratulating him for his "CATHOLIC VICTORY."
The historical records on this subject are overwhelming.
The human history is not motivated by theosophical
or religious 'imprimatur'; these are, in any case, effects of real material, ECONOMIC AND POLITICAL causes...and this why societies go to war:
to conquer lands,
markets,
slaves,
commodities,
wealth ...
not to impose, 'religiously,'
any kind of 'god' or 'monotheism' in particular.
"IN GOD WE TRUST":
IT IS "THE BIGGEST MISSPELLING MISTAKE
OF ALL HUMAN HISTORY":
THAT BETWEEN THE "O" AND "D" MUST BE AN "L":
"IN GOLD WE TRUST"
And this is, precisely, the central point
of what we want to demonstrate.
But back to the topic of Christianity.
On May 25, 2007, the Iranian President,
Mahmoud Ahmadinejd,
uttered to the people of Isfahan:
"In my letter to the Americans, I wrote:
‘You purport to be Christian, but in what way are your measures consistent with the teaching of Jesus? Would he have killed people? Would he have perpetrated crimes? Would he have plundered? Would he have started wars in order to sell weapons and kill people? Would he have perpetrated crimes in order to fill his pockets and the pockets of his party members? Jesus was the pillar of divine compassion and mercy. He opposed oppression, foreign invasion and crime. THIS IS WHY THE CRIMINALS KILLED AND CRUCIFIED HIM….YOU ARE LYING WHEN YOU CLAIM TO BE CHRISTIAN. In what way are your actions consistent with the true New Testament? IN WHAT WAY DO YOU RESEMBLE JESUS?'"
I think, in his assessments, the man was quite right. And, by doing so, his words help us to have a better understanding that:
"The more 'Christian' a country is, the more pathological its people are."
And then we see that the plutocracy of capitalism HAS NOTHING TO DO WITH THE AUTHENTIC CHRIST...IN ANY CASE IT HAS SOMETHING TO DO WITH THE ANTI-CHRIST...Maybe this is why "It will be more difficult for a rich man to enter in the Kingdom of God than a camel..."
